RECORDING STUDIOS
Located in the heart of Asbury Park, NJ, just one hour from New York City and Philadelphia, Lakehouse Recording Studios is a world-class facility designed by John Storyk of Walters-Storyk Design Group (WSDG). Spanning multiple studios, Lakehouse is defined by its traditional analog effects; including real plates, reverb chambers, springs, and tape delays. The studio features extensive vintage outboard gear, a comprehensive mic collection of quintessential models and modern favorites, and a large library of iconic examples of classic instruments. Our control rooms boast vintage Neve 8024 and API 2488 consoles, which can be paired with a well-maintained Ampex MM1200 tape machine, offering a refined, timeless recording experience rooted in craftsmanship and precision. Equally outfitted for contemporary production, Lakehouse is fully equipped with the latest recording technologies, plugins, DAWs and workflows. Rounding out the facility is a boutique audio/ADR room, perfect for voiceover, dialogue replacement, and intimate recording sessions.
Studio North
North is a large comfortable tracking studio with an expansive control room, well laid out live room, and several isolation options. Given it’s layout and size, it’s the best option for tracking densely populated projects. The room boasts a 1973 Neve 8024, Ampex MM1200 tape machine, and an ample amount of high end outboard gear.
Studio South
South is an inviting and cozy work space centered around a restored 1976 API 32 channel 2488 recording console. With its medium sized tracking room, it is well suited for capturing 3-4 person groups and solo artists. Outfitted with excellent monitoring, useful outboard gear, and accurate acoustics, South has become the favorite mix studio at Lakehouse.
Satellite
Satellite is a contemporary concept that was built with intimacy and your budget in mind. This studio has high quality mics, mic pres, and monitoring all within an acoustically designed space. The room was designed with traveling producers in mind, providing immediate artist/engineer interaction and easy workflow.
