Around the corner and down the street from our main campus, we’ve expanded our capabilities and opened an immersive audio mix and mastering room. It’s an honor to be given the opportunity to partner with 3 time Grammy winning mastering engineer, Tom Ruff, to offer immersive audio services. Increasingly, streaming services are dedicating resources to bolster their immersive audio content and we want to ensure our clients have the ability to meet that demand.

Tom designed this softly lit room to comply with Dolby Atmos specifications and guidelines, but with client comfort in mind. The room is a technical marvel with carefully positioned speakers speckling the walls and ceiling, but still endeavors to balance the science with your art. We wanted to do an experiment with you all. Our engineers, Evan Rudenjak & James Sleeman, went to work creating a track from scratch. James then did a stereo mix and an immersive mix so we can give you the opportunity to hear the difference between both.
